Working with Task Groups

Using this Task Group List you can organize different Tasks in Task Groups. This makes locating specific Tasks easier, and also allows you to start/stop several grouped Tasks at once.

The currently selected group is highlighted. The task list shows the selected groupÆs Tasks, or all existing Tasks if the All Tasks group is selected.

You can show or hide Task Groups according to your preferences with View -> Task Groups.

All Tasks Group

The uppermost (root) group is called All Tasks and cannot be deleted or renamed. Selecting this group shows all Tasks regardless of their assigned groups.

To create a new Task Group

Right-click on the All Tasks group, select New... and enter a name for the new group.

To delete a Task Group

Right-click on the group you want to delete and select Delete.... If the group has any Tasks in it, they will be moved to All Tasks group automatically. The All Tasks group cannot be deleted.

To rename a Task Group

Right-click on the group you want to rename, select Rename... and enter a new name for the group. The All Tasks group cannot be renamed.

To move a Task to a Task Group

Drag a Task to a group to move it to that group. The Task will be visible under this group and under the All Tasks group. When you create a new Task it is automatically assigned to the current group. You can move it to another group or to the All Tasks group after it is created.

To remove a Task from a Task Group

Drag a task to the All Tasks icon to remove it from the current group.

To run all Tasks in a Task Group

Right-click on the group and select Start.
